Tutorial Help
With zero instructor set-up, students get two pre-loaded assessments per chapter, Study Plans, tutorial help, and more.
Ready-to-Use Assignments
Use pre-loaded Sample Tests, or create your own assignments using a mix of MyEconLab® problems, the book's Test Bank, and questions written using the Econ Exercise Builder.
Individual Student Settings
Modify assignment settings for individual students, without other students seeing the changes or being affected. From either the Homework and Test Manager or a student's results page in the Gradebook, you can change any of the following assignment settings for individual students: due dates and times, number of attempts, time limit, whether to show remaining time during a test, whether a password is required (and what it is), whether a homework assignment is available to be worked on past its due date, and assigned/unassigned status.
Build Your Own Exercises
New in fall 2006, the Econ Exercise Builder allows the instructor to create and assign their own multiple choice, true/false, and short answer questions. Options include custom feedback and the ability to create and insert graphs into the problem statement. Netscape now supported!
Automatic Grading
MyEconLab® grades every homework and quiz question—even those with graphing. Students get unlimited graphing practice and immediate feedback with links to specific learning tools for each question. At any time, instructors can check on students' practice in their online Gradebook.
Department-wide Solutions
Get help managing multiple sections and working with TAs with MyEconLab® Coordinator Courses. After your MyEconLab® course is set up, it can be copied to create sections or "member courses." Changes to the Coordinator Course ripple down to all members, so changes only need to be made once.
Blackboard Integration
Blackboard users can integrate their Blackboard course with any MyEconLab New Design course. This integration allows for instructor and student single sign-on, inclusion of direct links to the MyEconLab course from within Blackboard content pages, and easy grade transfer.
