Pearson’s suite of experiments in MyEconLab is available in two ways to suit your instructional needs:
- Single Player – Assignable by the instructor, students can play on their own, any time, from any location with an Internet connection.
- Multiplayer – Assignable and run by the instructor, students can play against their classmates in real-time.

Assigning the Experiments
You can quickly assign each experiment through the new Experiment Manager tab in MyEconLab.
Once in the Experiment Manager, you select the experiment you wish to play, the date on which you plan to play in real time, or the date by which you want students to complete the experiment if you assign the Single Player version.
If you’re playing in real-time, the Experiment Manager allows you to go into each experiment to confirm the default set-up parameters or customize the set-up according to your preferences.
You can even assign an auto-graded pre or post experiment assignment - due dates will be entered into your Course Calendar and the assignment results will appear in your MyEconLab Gradebook.
Once it’s time for students to play, they simply access the assigned experiment through their Homework tab.
Using the Results
Each experiment concludes with a rich set of Results tabs designed to show the outcome of the experiment through a discovery based learning process. Should you wish to use or discuss these results pages in subsequent class meetings, you’ll easily be able to access an experiment you’ve previously played. And whether you’ve had students play the Single Player or Mutiplayer experiment, the data and results from each round of play are easily accessible and exportable for a variety of uses.
